Worst post ever.

Ok, so you'd think that being unemployed meant that i would at the very least be able to find the time to put up a post on this blog once a week. But for all i know no one is reading this on a regular basis. Well i know of maybe 3. I don't really have any excuses, i guess the novelty of having people around the place during the holidays distracted me. But they have all gone away again, so i am now free to write again and become a bit of an evil social recluse.

Christmas was as fantastic as it is every year. Mine seems to be one of those rare ones that does genuinely enjoy spending time together. The family Christmas party is the highlight of my social calender and involves much eating, drinking and the playing of various games running from the fairly standard to ones that just seem to be unique to us. Roving Cattle anyone? (It really can't be explained. Nothing dodgy mind! Just a little weird.) New years was good too by the way!

I know this is really random (god i hate that phrase!), whats with the proliferation of pregnant news readers at the moment?!

Proliferation, great word. Not sure what it actually means but my usual tactic is to stick big words into what i'm saying or writing if they sound good and hope the meaning correlates (see its easy), to the usage.

As for the job market. Well we weren't getting on very well most of last year. However i think we've turned a corner, and are now on a more friendly footing. So far i have 6 applications open for various administration and other roles. The best ones so far are one based in Daventry for a trainee utilities surveyor and one near Rugby as a distribution assistant. Its still early days yet for both of these but fingers crossed!

Either way i hope to be earning actual money soon and then things really will be looking up!

I don't have any job tips this week as i am increasingly finding that its down to fluke.

Yeah, i know, 3 weeks to wait for this. At the pictures seem to be getting better though eh? Even if the layout looks all wrong, i mean you should END with a picture centrally and text above and/or below. Not in this none aesthetically pleasing way. (Big words are fun!)
